Powertech Logotype Design

When Powertech, Blackpool, established itself as a new UK manufacturer in 2009 of handmade, race-bred motorcycle exhaust systems they chose Quentin James Design, Preston to help launch their company. We were tasked with creating their unique logotype design which would appear on their accompanying website design and be used at motorsport events.

The Brief

With a proven track record in the motorsport and automotive sectors, we led the field when Blackpool based Powertech needed a new logotype design and website design. Our expertise guaranteed the then fledgeling company attract trade and retail customers across a range of media.

Powertech Logotype Design

Against a deadline of late 2009, our task was to help Powertech make their mark in the forthcoming season of the Motorcycle trade. We created a brand new eye-catching logotype design featuring a cool new character – the ‘Zorst Devil! The ‘Zorst Devil formed part of the main logotype, replacing the ‘O’ in Powertech. The ‘Zorst Devil character was also designed to be used as a standalone branding element.

Website Design

A new website design incorporating the new logotype design for the Blackpool based firm was also launched. This new website design was aimed squarely at those riders looking to boost the performance of their bike. The website is used to promote the company’s products, services and attendance at major motorcycle trade shows.

Trade Show and Exhibition Support

Since the successful launch of the company we have continued to supply Powertech with creative advertising designs and a range of complimentary marketing literature. We have also provided marketing support for their attendance at both trade and consumer bike shows including Motorcycle Live.

Social Media Marketing

More recently we’ve been helping Powertech promote their Dynojet Dynamometer services to the motorcycle rider community via social media marketing and targeted email marketing campaigns. As part of our email, Facebook and Twitter marketing strategy, we filmed, edited and broadcast a neat YouTube video.

Combining the YouTube video with a geographically and demographically targeted email marketing campaign, we helped Powertech to achieve a high return on investment (ROI), making their money back within 30 minutes of the email marketing campaign first being broadcast.
